Universal Pictures new romantic comedy, It's Complicated, Starring
Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin hit theaters this week. Jane played by
Meryl Streep loses her husband, Jake, played by Alec Baldwin to a
younger more attractive woman. Then while in New York for they're son's
Graduation and after a night of drinking they find themselves sleeping
together and they realize that with all they're anger left in the past
they are able to reconnect as if they were in a New, fun relationship
like things were when they first met. But looking for a long lasting
relationship and not be "The other woman" she is unsure about being
with him. Jane then meets Adam played by Steve Martin an architect and
also a divorcee whom she hires to design her new kitchen and she finds

with his ex he is certain that his relationship with Jane is so strong

She is such a good actress, she makes everything enjoyable. Alec
Baldwin and Steve Martin bring out a lot of laughs and smiles also.
Although, the movie is like many other romantic comedies, the stars
make it worth seeing.
Meryl Streep is a well- heeled divorcee in Santa Barbara. She is a successful businesswoman who owns her own bakery. She has three grown children and has been divorced for ten years. Her ex (Alec Baldwin) has remarried, of course, but somehow (due to his own ego) craves the attention of his ex-wife. After meeting up for their son’s graduation, and having a grand dinner and a few cocktails later, they realize there is still some chemistry there. You guessed it, an affair happens. Older teenagers will find the movie enjoyable, although anyone over 30 might appreciate the humor a little more. There is a lot of romantic humor, a small amount of sexuality, and only a few words of profanity. This movie is great for a night of romantic entertainment, but not an Oscar contender. Performances are noteworthy, but not Oscar caliber. It’s just a nice feel-good romantic comedy with a lot of talent involved. It’s good for a romantic evening out with your significant other.
